I wish you all a Happy New Year 2012 and that all your goals are met. I should have sent this email in the first days of the year, but because of a trip it was only now that I could sit down and write.

One of the goals of this blog was to write at least more than 36 articles for the year 2011, which had been achieved in 2009. In 2011, 49 articles were published, an average of 4 articles per month.

In addition, in December the blog exceeded its monthly visits record of 3800, reaching 4160 for that month, as the following figure shows.

Thank you all very much for reading the blog.

This year I hope to finish the articles on PyQt, PyGTK, graphics with python and android with python, and to continue with articles on packaging for Python and Debian, server administration, mercurial, monitoring and other topics. I may also start writing about Python programming with wxwidget.

What is more, following the example of bloggers such as the Orsai site, I leave open the possibility for those who read this blog to suggest topics, always about Free software and Linux, of course.

For now I hope to write more than 50 articles this year. I hope I have the time and the topics ready to achieve it.
